Brownies - The gooey ones

Ingredients
- 150g butter
- 75g light soft brown sugar
- 150g plain chocolate
- 1 tbsp golden syrup
- 3 eggs
- 125g golden caster sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 150g plain flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 4-6 tbsp of Nutella
Method
- Heat the oven to 160 (fan).
- Melt the butter, chocolate, brown sugar, and golden syrup in a pan on a very low heat.
- Whisk the eggs and golden caster sugar in a big bowl. Keep whisky for a few minutes until it’s light and frothy.
- Then add the vanilla.
- Sift in the flower, baking powder, cocoa powder, and the melted butter and chocolate mix.
- Fold all the mixture together.
- Pour half of the mixture into a 20cm baking tray.
- Scoop on dollops of the Nutella.
- Pour on the remaining mix.
- Bake on 160 for 30 mins.
- Leave it to rest for quite a while.
